JR KYUSHU HOTEL Blossom Oita

Oita City, the prefectural capital, lies near the center of Oita Prefecture, facing Beppu Bay. Historically, it was the seat of the ancient Bungo Province government, and it has prospered as the heart of the prefecture for roughly 1,300 years. As a result, Oita City is the site of numerous ancient shrines, temples, and castle ruins. You can also visit several areas where the traditional townscape has been preserved, making the city the ideal destination for a stroll through history.

JR KYUSHU HOTEL Blossom Oita is an urban limited-service hotel with 190 guest rooms spanning the 8th to 18th floors of the JR Oita City commercial complex, directly in front of JR Oita Station on the JR Nippo Main Line. *The hotel front desk is on the 8th floor of JR Oita City.

The interior decor was designed by industrial designer Eiji Mitooka, renowned for his numerous train designs, including JR Kyushu’s luxury sleeper train Seven Stars in Kyushu and the Kyushu Shinkansen 800 series. On the 1st to 4th floors of the same building as the hotel, you can find nationwide restaurant chains along with other locally renowned dining options, offering a variety of convenient places to grab a bite.
