CRYSTAL VILLA SHIRAHAMA OCEANS DOG RESORT

Located in Nanki-Shirahama on high ground overlooking the Pacific Ocean, Crystal Villa Shirahama Ocean Dog Resort is a Balinese-style villa resort that opened in July 2025. Inspired by the buildings on the Indonesian island of Bali, it has four villas, each with an Indonesian name. The villas are all independent accommodation facilities that can be rented as single units for privacy.

To recreate the atmosphere of a stay at a Balinese hotel, various items were purchased in Bali and installed at the resort, including stone pillars outside the villas, sculptures on the perimeter walls, and interior furnishings. All four villas are equipped with their own pools, barrel saunas, bathrooms with hot spring water from Shirahama Onsen, ReFa showerheads that cleanse skin with bubbles smaller than pores, and ReFa hair dryers that bring out the beauty of your hair. Guests are welcome to bring their pet dogs during their stay.

The largest of the four villas, Agung Suite Villa, can accommodate 22 guests. It is truly a Shirahama vacation home, spacious enough for multiple families or large groups of friends. One of its unique features is an infinity pool that lets guests feel like part of the Pacific Ocean that stretches out before their eyes.

Stays at the resort do not include meals, but guests may dine at nearby restaurants or bring their own ingredients to enjoy a barbecue on the terrace. Barbecue ingredients and hot pot dishes (Kumano beef sukiyaki, Okinawan Agu pork shabu-shabu, chicken hot pot, and Wakayama specialty, longtooth grouper hot pot, which is available only in winter) can be prepared for guests by reservation. Crystal Villa Shirahama Ocean Dog Resort recreates the atmosphere of Bali in Japan. Guests are sure to feel completely at home in this exceptional accommodation, which also serves as a great base for sightseeing in Shirahama.

Please note that guests should check in at Shirahama General Information Center, which is located about a 10-minute drive away from the villas. It is also about a five-minute drive from Nanki-Shirahama Airport or Shirahama Station on the JR Kisei Main Line.
