Crystal Villa Shirarahama Beach

Shirahama is a popular tourist spot in Wakayama Prefecture and is well known even among people from outside Japan. Crystal Villa Shirarahama Beach looks out on the Pacific Ocean and is approximately a 10-minute walk from the famed white sands of Shirarahama Beach. It is a new, villa-style accommodation facility that opened in October 2023. The property includes five private villas for guests to stay in and enjoy.

Each villa is equipped with a private pool, an open-air bath filled with hot spring water from Shirahama Hot Spring, a sauna, and a hot tub. Each of these three-story villas offers three to four bedrooms, and two of the five villas allow dogs. These villas are perfect for a pair, a group of friends or colleagues, or several families visiting together. To further facilitate extended stays, each villa also includes a well-equipped kitchen, a laundry machine, and an indoor bath in addition to the open-air bath. Each of the five properties follows a different interior design concept, so guests can reserve the villa that best suits their tastes.

Standard stays do not include meals. Guests can dine at nearby restaurants or bring their own ingredients and prepare a barbecue by the pool. When reserved in advance, the facility can also provide cuisine such as barbecue, sukiyaki with Kumano Beef, or, in winter, decadent seafood hotpot dishes that feature the longtooth grouper fish, a famous Shirahama delicacy. Alternatively, an on-site chef service can also be arranged, allowing guests to choose from different culinary options, such as teppanyaki, Italian, Chinese, and sushi, to enjoy leisurely in the comfort of the villa.

Sightseeing attractions around the villa include Adventure World, with its famous pandas, boat fishing, scenic cruises, diving, hot springs known to date back 1,400 years (including Saki-no-Yu and Muro-no-Yu), and incredible natural scenery, such the vast rock plateau Senjojiki and the Sandanpeki cliffs. Guests can also relax and get a perfect view of the spectacular Shirahama Firework displays, which are held during summer and on New Year’s Eve, from the villa’s rooftop terrace.

At Crystal Villa Shirarahama Beach, guests can indulge in and enjoy the pool, sauna, and famous mineral waters of Shirahama Hot Spring to their heart’s content. Here, guests can relax and spend their time however they like in a private space.
